I feel liberated: just permanently deleted my facebook account

I don't think I was badmouthing fb per se, rather voicing my frustration with the "perceived" (either correctly or incorrectly on my part) idea of fb.

I have family all over the world and I really didn't see any difference between sending emails to each other, talking on the phone and/or sending links to online photo albums, videos, etc. vs. doing the same via fb.

And, you are right, I didn't really use it that much b/c I got annoyed with it early on. As for not understanding it, maybe I don't or maybe I do. Regardless, as $tevie said, to each his own.
