I feel liberated: just permanently deleted my facebook account

My daughter uses Facebook to keep in touch with friends, new and old, a lot of them other mothers sharing experiences. I have a FB account, but never post on it, and find the constant requests from people who are at best acquaintances (or at worst completely unknown) to be 'friends' annoying.

Linked-In is also annoying, cluttering up my email Inbox.

Being on the radio, I have no privacy, but I do like to maintain a certain distance. . .
