Just got an Apple snow router

OK, connect an ethernet cable from your network or main router to the WAN port.

Open the Airport Utility in your utilities folder.

Under the Airport tab, then under the wireless tab, set the wireless mode to "Create a wireless network"

Then in the Internet tab at the top, set the "connect using" to ethernet, and the "connection sharing" to Off (bridge mode). Then click the update button to save all your settings.

This is enough to turn the router into an access point.
