They should update the notifications and confirmations to show exactly what was charged.

I don't think it's too much to ask, or that there's anything wrong with doing so.
I just received a pair of speakers I ordered with a coupon discount. While the shipping notifications has no price info, the confirmation email did, and it was the discounted price I expected to see and was charged to my card.
Not a big deal, but still...
I don't order from Newegg much, but when I do, I'll pay more attention and see if it happens to me. Maybe it was just some anomaly.
