The Senate version, which included a requirement for the financial-intelligence gatherers to register so representatives and staff would know to whom they are speaking, passed overwhelmingly. There is still a chance to get some kind of registration requirement included in the bill.

By the way? The folks who took it out of the House side bill are the House leadership, Boehner and Cantor.
