This is not a political statement, it's just plain fact:
If you had wanted to meet him, you would need to have gotten an 'in' through his re-election campaign or political party.
Or been a donor or an organizer.
And had to submit all your personal data a week or so in advance.
Secret Service takes the security of their principal beyond seriously
. Which is good.. the number of people and organizations who would happily murder him are staggering.
