I love the show but it has fallen by the wayside for me and I haven't had a chance to watch it in a long time. It's one of many shows I want to catch up on.
On Fiona's accent, I remember her simply saying something to the effect that since she was in the U.S., she was going to ditch the Irish accent. IIRC, that was in the second or third episode. Of course that was revisited when her brother came to town.
To each his own / different strokes for different folks. I think she is smokin' hot. X(
