I refused to pay ATT for a texting plan. After getting a half dozen BS texts from co-workers (that cost me $0.20 each), I had ATT block ALL texts. I then picked up a TextFree+Voice account when that App was free. Only three people have that number. I find intrusive texts especially infuriating as a text message costs a carrier less than a voice call. There should be a discount for people who utilize text service, not a surcharge.
