Sanford v. Colbert Busch
#1
She didn't do all that well in the debate last week. The Charleston paper has given her a nice endorsement and she has a surprisingly high level of support in a district that went for Romney by a big margin, so we'll see what happens tomorrow. Polls show 47 to 46, Sanford, going into tomorrow's special election. So the nine point lead she had 2 weeks ago evaporated. Sanford is a far more experienced politician and over the past few weeks, that has been made clear.

can't agree at all with this piece by Chris C. in the Washington Post, saying that a Sanford win would be "good for Democrats." No, it won't be. There's no reason to think that any Republicans would distance themselves from Sanford because of his personal stuff. Once he's in, he'll be just another team player for the Tea Party.
