Pablo falls somewhere between Barry Bonds and Vladimir Guerrero, probably more the latter in terms of lack of plate discipline, but like both those guys he can hit pretty much any pitch in any location awfully hard.
He had a tough year health-wise and had a long homer-less streak after coming back from surgery on his hand. Glad it's coming together for him now, especially after he contributed next to nothing during the Giants' 2010 postseason run. Actually, it was pretty great seeing Pablo and Barry Zito, the two 2010 outcasts, sitting at the press table last night, the two big heroes of Game 1.
