Can the elections be postponed?

The constitution specifies that your right to vote can't be abridged because of race, sex, etc., but doesn't say anything about so-called "acts of god." The U.S. code provides that if electors aren't chosen in an appropriate manner, they may be appointed by the state legislature. (Thus: if in PA it's not possible to vote in the Philadelphia metro area, the legislature could appoint electors proportional to that region. Some members of the Florida legislature in 2000 thought of resolving electoral disputes by simply voting in a slate of Bush electors.)
