I've heard that theme expressed in all it's vituperative glory from people who were quite serious. While I understand that Chris is a comedian and it's funny, there's a whole line of thought that is apparently shared througout the Democratic Party. And it pisses me off. Because, dammit, I don't consider myself racist at all. And nobody who knows me has ever called me that.
It enrages me when people call me racist because I refuse to vote for the man.
And yes,, my rage is directed at some unknown person being interviewed on NPR who said "If you dont' vote for Obama, it's because you're a racist". It pissed me off so badly I turned off the radio and didn't get the story information or the person's name.
I also get enraged when I hear idiots saying I should not vote for Obama because he's got more melanin than I do.
