Editing the hosts file on OS X

I want to create an entry, such that requests to a particular website actually point back to localhost.

Let's say the website is BadSite.com, with an IP of 123.123.123.123.

Do I enter either:

127.0.0.1 badsite.com
or...
123.123.123.123 localhost
