For all around value, you can't beat the Tiltall. Classic design and very effective. If they ever "improve" it, it will probably ruin it. Best balance of weight, stability, price and quality, for consumer 35mm/DSLR, IMO.

I have an original 3021, and a newer 3021 Pro (which is really just the original 3021, but within a new product line) and a number of Tiltalls.

Tiltall is a decent option. Really tall, when you need it.
