Best inkjet all-in-one for parents (ages 87 and 80?)
#1
My mom and dad need a new inkjet printer all in one (print, copy, fax, scan).

From what I can tell through research, the main issues is cost per page. Apparently, a lot of the inkjets can waste 20% or more of the ink by going through routine cleaning cycles or calibration cycles, etc. Also, some of them won't let you print in black, even though you have plenty of black ink, if any of your color cartridges have run out. I'd prefer to avoid those issues, if possible.

There's a lot of good press out there for the HP Officejet Pro 8600, and the Epson Workforce WF-2530, but they both seem to be subject to the two problems above.

Can anyone recommend an inkjet all-in-one, based on your current personal experience (i.e., a model I can just go out and buy--so "I had an Epson 8 years ago and it was great" is appreciated, but won't help much).

Thanks!
