Hey, man, when you're talking about electrical work, there's no such thing as "stating the obvious." If you knew to do it, then good for you.
Someone else might read it, and not know.
if they are able to READ and are about to do ELECTRICAL WORK and so far didn't learn about shutting breaker off when doing electrical work, then they are good candidates for the Dawrin award.
