No discounts. Just bite the bullet and get it from Alsoft. I'd get it soon, as I am personally thinking there may be an update coming, and buying now would guarantee a cheap or free upgrade.
As others have said, just install DW 4.4 on your drive , then make a new bootable backup clone on an external drive. Now you can boot into either drive and run DW on the other drive. I've been doing that for several years.
