It kind of depends on what type of proficiency you're looking for.
Photoshop can encompass photo cleanup, editing, compositing, digital art, and more - each one of those is a specialized field. Ditto editing. There are of course basics classes but my guess would be you have more than enough general knowledge to cover a basics class.
