I've joined the Ooma Cult... ordered mine today. Amazon, $119
#3
My landline port (VOIPo to T-Mobile) took a few days, though T-Mobile said it could take up to a couple of weeks since landline ports take longer and they have no control over when the previous carrier releases the number (whereas cellular to cellular ports are usually done in 24 hours).

My T-Mobile to Google Voice port took 24 "business" hours (72 real hours as it was over a weekend).

I haven't used my landline to make calls in ages, but I wanted to keep the number, so I went the Google Voice route. $40 in costs ($20 for a T-Mobile pay as you go SIM + airtime and $20 to Google for the port).
