I do love my kindle paperwhite. I'll usually read it while laying down on the couch, but it's rare I have the time for that. I don't like to read in bed because I have occasional bouts of insomnia, so I try to restrict my bed activities to sleeping and sex.
So, most books I read I don't actually read. I go through 2 - 3 audiobooks a month, compared to 1 or 2 on the kindle. Today, for example, I did yard work, but most of my attention was taken up by a Jo Nesbo novel. Pulling oxalis was downright riveting.
Unfortunately, iOS sucks when it comes to audiobooks. It has never been very good and iOS 5, 6, and 7 each introduced new bugs/problems without fixing old ones. Some of which actually go back to the iPhone's introduction.
