I wore night splints for 3 solid years and did the arch stretch numerous times per day. Cured it. My night splint
boots didn't have the tensioners on the sides to really crank that front part of your foot up so I rolled up
socks and crammed them in to lift the ball of my foot. I also started wearing a really good sports insoles in
all of my shoes that were made for a high arch. Another thing I did was stop walking barefoot even in the
house I wear either Crocs or Birkenstock sandals.
BTW: I still say all this Plantar crap is coming from crappy Chinese shoes that aren't made worth a crap.
I never heard of people having these problems until nearly of all shoes were being made in China. Now
it's commonplace.
