Long List Of Senior Discounts - Some Seem Too Good To Be True - Your Thoughts?
#20
Our Kroger stores offer 10% off on the first Wed of the month (a day to be avoided by all non-seniors!). 60 might be the magic age but I don't remember now. Jay C Food Stores (owned by Kroger) gives 5% off every Tuesday.

My wife asked about a senior discount at the local theater and was told 65 was the cutoff. She opined that she was a month away from that and the ticket clerk shouted, "Happy Birthday" and gave her the discount. Then suggested that she just ask for the senior price and it would be granted.

After I turned 60 I discovered that Taco Bell gave a "senior drink" which was a free cup at the all you can drink dispenser.

Motels all seem to have a discount plan; it appears that it's the same discount with a different name or excuse to give it. The Southwest Air senior price is not necessarily the best price according to their web page.
