[IMPRESSIONS] Micro Touch One “Classic” Safety Razor. Long Post
#13
Article,

Nope. That summary is too condensed. You lose way too much of the content. Even the others skip out relevant details.

Deck and Guy,

DE safety razors aren't for everyone. It's very much a personal preference. For example, I've yet to find _any_ electric shaver that can hold a candle to a disposable, cartridge or DE razor. And, of the aforementioned types, DE razors are the best for me.

The Edwin Jagger and Derby Extra blades have nearly paid for themselves already. I still have nearly 1.5 years worth of blades from my original pack of 100 qty.

Decay,

I found the length of the razor to be a non-issue. I thought it'd be a problem but I hold it towards the end of the handle. So, it doesn't matter if it's longer or shorter. But, if you've got big hands, I can see how it can be a problem if you've got hands large enough to palm a basketball.

If you're looking for a DE razor, I'd check them out at a local shop rather than buy online. That way, you can get a feel for each one before making your decision. That's what I did when I bought the Barleycorn.

And, to everyone, if you want to buy the Micro Touch One, don't buy it online or over the phone. Buy it from a local shop. You'll save bucks. Smile
