The course costs me $25.00. The certificate is valid for three years. So, think of it as about $8.00 or so per year. It reduces my liability and collisions rates by up to 10% per year while the certificate is valid. It saves me nearly at the minimum $65 per year for three years. So, $8 or so to save $65+? It's a no-brainer.=
It depends on what your time is worth. On the cheap side, it's $10/hr. Divided over three years, that's about $30/yr, or $38 total. So $38 to save $65? Maybe that's worth it.
If your time is worth say $50/hr, you're looking at more like $150/yr to save $65/yr.
