I think you might be: AirPlay allows you to stream Amazon Instant Video from your computer or iOS device to your TV via Apple TV in full quality:

Space specifically doesn't want use AirPlay. If you have kids, it isn't fun having to buy extra iOS devices to make sure they can watch something on the TV. That's why I haven't purchased a Chromecast either. Love the idea, lot of merit there, but requiring a second device to initiate viewing isn't always feasible.
