Please don't give up on me! I'm sure there's a solution, if only someone can make the instructions clear enough for me…-

It was that easy for Mavis Mini. Her original Apple hard drive was only 80GB, so I simply cloned it to the new SSD from the external bootable clone that I had set up as her back up.

Unfortunately, in my case, the drive I use is 1TB and it has over 700GB used on it. Paring it down is too daunting a project for me at this point. Sad

As far as why I get so little sleep, I accommodate Mavis' schedule and watch some shows with her, until she goes off to bed.

Then I end up watching "my" shows and spending time on my computer, where as you probably know, one thing leads to another and then it's four in the morning. Four hours later Precious wakes up and starts playing with her bells and saying "I love you," which is impossible to ignore.
