The thing is...thermal paste loses its abilities over time and usage. I know of one gaming notebook manufacturer who invites customers back for a re-application of thermal paste for free!
In my case, I use my MBP a LOT in a warm environment here in SG. If I were to replace this MBP in the future with another...what are the options for thermal paste re-application? I would hate to think that I would need to replace future MBPs every 3 yrs or so and then try to shuffle of a dying MBP on someone else.
Edit...I guess one should not be buying any used MBPs in the future since there is this time bomb in all of them.
