I like the new phones-- I decided almost immediately I am going to switch to iPhone when I can get a 64 GB in the Galaxy-S3-copy-size for $200 or less used/no contract.
Wait, that will be never. As far as I know, the iPhone has never dropped to that price point off contract. The original iPhone 4GB may have been $250ish, but I think those were refurbs. Maybe in three years a used iPhone will cost $200.
It will be never (new with no contract) or like you said, 2-3 years from now.
i would not buy a 2-4 year old iPhone for $200, even off contract.
that's like buying a 3 year old Mac, but worse, as those are very usable for 3-5 years. iPhones feel slow and don't hold a good charge after 2 years, in my experience.
I've been using a 2011 Galaxy S Fascinate that I paid $30 for since January. Sounds like you're saying a 3 year old iPhone wouldn't serve my needs?
