I'm actually excited to see how this new technology works out and which side wins the war - Apple and the credit card companies v. Walmart-led CurrentC retailers
Epic battle - Apple offers customers anonymity in purchases, which retailers don't like because they want to track you - but they're playing the credit card company's game
currentC wants to cut out the credit card middle man and his swipe fees but allow for consumer tracking
we'll see who wins
the data breaches (including what's stored on your phone and not just on company servers) are inevitable, no matter which system (if either) prevails with consumers
that's part of electronic life now
