Son did this for aunt a couple of years ago. Used an old d630 dell latitude running win 7 and RCA to usb converter/adapter. With some crappy software that came with the converter/adapter. Worked with an external 500gb drive. Burned to dvd. She paid him about 150 to convert two boxes of old VHS tapes to dvd.
