brother hl-2340 still the preferred simple 2 setup choice?

older daughter needs SIMPLE 2 SETUP mono laser printer.

we have had good fortune with the low end brother models.

she needs to print wireless via macbook air.

does she need "wireless" brother ala:

or can she plug usb into her wifi router/modem and get wifi access?
