Doesn't take that much grease. If you have a range hood, placing one between the front and back burners on each side might be fine. I think that's what the fire department folks were recommending. Or if you're like me and rarely use the back burners just place over the front burners. If you have a microwave exhaust I don't think you have any choice but to place it so it dumps out over the front burner.
