Burning Music To Be Played On Older Portable CD Player

Many older CD players aren't compatible with home-burned CDs that were burned, or were designed to be burned, at high speeds.

Try burning the CD at 1X or 2X speed, and/or using a different brand of blank CD.

Old CD players also sometimes get fog on the laser and don't play well.
