I called Jet and complained and was told to send it back, but I asked for a replacement with the brand new item that I thought I would get. That got me nowhere.
Compared to Amazon, these folks are amateurs and I wouldn't trust them to make good on any complaints.
Do I have any other recourse for being mislead?
This is why I don't call customer service anymore. I use the online chat service and save the transcript. That way when stuff like this happens, I can go back to them and say, "No, you actually DID say that."
