Welcome, sek! Or, irrasshaimase... You'll here that every time you enter a store, restaurant, etc. If you like sushi, I recommend what's called onigiri ("o" is honorific) sushi, onigirizushi, in speech. "s" change to "z". Actually, I'm not in Japan right now, so I can't really tell you welcome. But it's been home for so many years. Try a few words in Japanese, it won't hurt. But, unless a person is like our daughter who was raised in Japan since a baby, it takes a loooong time to gain a bit o' fluency, and that's working at it every day in study and living in total Japanese neighborhoods. That's us. Fluent now, but I reckon it's a bit like being a concert musician. You don't just "pick" up a language like Japanese as an adult.
