I'm always on the look for a great BT/Airplay speaker. The one with the bass dock looks interesting. I prefer a speaker with strong (but not overpowering) bass.
The UE Boom does not have a lot of low end, but it still sounds good and is very portable. So I call it a "really good" speaker, but not a "great" speaker. Yes, I've bought two (gave one away.) I clip em to my shirt or jacket while doing yard work or riding to my weekend job. My opinion-- it's amazing that you can get something this good for $45. I have no idea how to compare to something I haven't heard/used, but I can't figure out how I would use the Boom. Do you wear it around your neck on a lanyard?
