Not excited by anything SW-related anymore.

I think that Disney has burnt out my Star Wars receptors.

Disney and/or JJ
JJ just didn't make a good movie. I expect that from him. Doesn't mean that I'm burned out on movies. (Go see Deadpool. Do not bring kids.)

It's Disney, endlessly pounding my senses with marketing.

It's like looking at the world through tinted glasses. You lose the ability to easily perceive that color. My eyes just no longer pick up Star Wars stuff.

'Walked by a bunch of 501 troops in full Storm Trooper gear the other day and if someone hadn't nudged me and told me to look, I wouldn't have noticed. Having noticed it, I just went back to work. No idea what they were doing there and don't feel that it's worth the effort to find out. I'm part of the orginal Star Wars generation. I collected the original action figures. I saw Empire 9 times in its original run. But now I see Star Wars stuff and it's just so much noise. Not worth my attention. It's everywhere. It's not special. It's just static.
