Ombligo suggested the Wisconsin Dells. The boat ride on the Wisconsin River is nice and the Duck rides are fun. IF you go that way, consider the Circus World Museum in next door Baraboo which is on the grounds of the Ringling Brothers Circus. It is easy to spend a whole day there.
