They sell over-roasted burnt coffee and wannabe coffee derivatives as status symbols to the insecure, needy, step above the class I'm actually in strivers .
They sell faux PC correctness to the same sheep who are duped by slaves behind the counter being called "baristas" instead of what they are. The whole money making scheme is quite comical and it's not surprising they are making money hands over fist selling their "product" similarly to cosmetics at Macy's or Cherry and Webb to those needing to be something they are not.
