Anybody have an Inductive Cooktop in your Kitchen?

We were interested but in the end didn't go for it. IIRC, it heats up quicker than regular electric, and the cooktop stays cool(-er; it's warmed somewhat by being next to the pan it's heating).

You have to use pans that are made of a ferromagnetic material - you can tell by seeing if a magnet sticks to it. And I've heard folks say it tends to hum or "sing" a bit, but users say that it's not obnoxious, and you get used to it quickly.
