Remember reading an interview of William Christopher many years ago. When asked to describe the idea of M*A*S*H his response was something like, "Well, M*A*S*H is a show about a US Army chaplain during the Korean War."

I've borrowed that story many times.

R.I.P. Mr Christopher. You have earned it.
