Prices will be even higher when the new arena in San Francisco opens. I'm glad the Warriors are moving back to SF since that's where they were before moving to Oakland and after moving from Philadelphia. Warriors have a very devoted fan base even during the many losing seasons, but along with success comes bandwagoners, many who spends more time on their phones than watching and cheering for the team. Same as at San Francisco Giants games these days since their transition to their new stadium and during their recent successful years. It is cool that both the Warriors new arena and the Giants stadium are on the waterfront and both privately funded.
Unless you actually plan to attend a game at Chase Arena. There is very little public transit to the Arena (3rd street light rail and busses), 200 parking spaces and it's hemmed in by UCSF Medical facilities on all 4 sides. It's a couple of long miles from the nearest BART station. It's going to be a nightmare. Currently it's a virtual breeze getting to Oracle Arena. Just take BART right to the Arena. The owners don't live in San Francisco. They live in Los Angeles. They have no idea.
Right now the Warriors enjoy a loyal following even during the past 20 years when they sucked. When they suck again, nobody is going to go the trouble to get to this new Arena.
Go Lakers!
