Find a place you can donate to that will repair it. Not Goodwill, but specifically an electronics place. Then take the tax deduction and buy a new one.
I hope they're not your primary screen. The colors have shifted. I have one from 2005 and another from 2008. You can see how one has shifted more with age. Most shops that really care about color get new screens every year.
