I've been disappointed with pretty much every bluetooth speaker or headphones I've encountered. Last year I bought a highly rated set of bluetooth speakers with a built-in subwoofer. Sound is good... when it actually works. It's less than 10 feet away from my computer, and the sound gets choppy way too often. Got a pair of bluetooth headphones... normally cost around $100, but I paid a lot less. Sound is pretty awful.
Everything is going wireless these days, at the expense of quality sound. I guess a lot of people are more concerned with convenience than quality. I recently bought a network receiver and some wired speakers. The speakers were cheaper than most wireless ones, and the sound never hiccups. And the sound quality is great. I've had my eyes on some wired headphones that are really nice: AKC K240's. Great sound, super comfortable. Retails for $69. Guitar Center had them for $55 last month, but I missed that sale by a day. I figure they'll go on sale again around the holidays.
