One weird thing about this is that making a player stand for the anthem or you'll take away their job will not make them respect the flag or anthem (actually it probably induces them to have less respect). You can't force someone to have respect for something. You can force them to mimic the behavior of having respect (IOW, force them into a sham exhibition), though, and that 's what this is about - forcing players to mimic the behavior of having respect for the flag and anthem. I guess that's what a lot of people in "the land of the free" think is the only good and right thing to do.
To be real Ted, the president and those that feel like him don't believe that their Black pain is valid. Everything other than that that comes out of their mouths is rationale.
