Yes, it was just popped out of the bigger card in my old phone so all my contacts and stuff came across and I was up and running immediately. As I only used the old phone for calls and texts I didn't have need of much backup but about every fortnight I connected to the computer and used an old free app that saved what was on the sim. With the new one I'm hoping to use it more so have logged in to a Google account and so everything is backed up automatically.
