So here is the question: why does Apple spend time and resources to remove features from the software, if the old version of the software works just fine in the new OS? Who takes these decisions at Apple?
I think there is a large group at Apple that has the idea that they are trying to protect users from themselves.
I wish that they would do it by using something like Parental Controls and allow "adults" to turn it off and control things like we used to.

One other thing that I dislike about the new Disk Utility is that they changed First Aid so that the only option is "Repair", I always liked to run the "Verify" pass first to see what it though it was going to try to repair, and maybe decide to use Disk Warrior for the actual repair instead of having First Aid mangle it more.
