I avoided it like the plague in real life. At least as far as the tree lighting goes; which was unfortunate, because I also missed our non-profit’s holiday party. I’d have needed to get across town on a 57th St. bus, which would probably have slowed to a crawl in the vicinity of 5th–6th Ave.
