help me strike my profile from LinkedIn

I deleted my account and according to LinkedIn the profile will no longer be visible nor searchable which to me says that it is still lurking on LinkedIn but nobody can find it. They do say that "We're unable to reopen accounts closed for more than 20 days." but I'm not sure if that's because it is then really truly gone and nonexistent or not.
