I really enjoy Nine-Nine, and save all the episodes.
There was a somewhat low point for me with the arc of Jason Mantzoukas. I don't like him one bit. He left the 99 (for good I hope) but turned up on The Good Place. ::hurl:: Fortunately that was a very short arc.
Samberg is good but a little of him goes a long ways. Everybody else is really great. I love Rosa, and really liked Beatriz's appearances on Modern Family.
And major props to Andre Braugher. He was a little too much in Homicide: Life on the Street, constantly screaming, and should have been charged with felony overacting. (To be fair, the whole show was a little overwrought.) But as Captain Holt, he has great comedic timing and delivery.
I hope this show gets rescued (along with The Expanse). It's happened to a very few shows I like (JAG, Southland).
FOX has cancelled some really good shows in the past. Did they drop the 99 because of salaries? Some networks drop shows without giving them a chance to grow an audience but the 99 was pretty solid.
